This is what blogging is helping me to accomplish.
I was supposed to post this the day before yesterday but I got caught up with life and some rejections and my siblings birthday. Yes, siblings. They are not twins, born with a 9 year difference, yet, on the same day (28th Jan). And we celebrated it yesterday, with a DELICIOUS cake, and pizza, pasta and soup. I LOVE soup. My mom’s homemade chicken soup with corn is THE BEST. So that made me happy 😀
But then, I skipped my blogging day for the first time ever. (I am a proud “attending” nerd B| )
So skipping other irrelevant randomness which is not related to this post, I give you my second random daily prompt that fate had chosen for me –
“Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.”
Just retyping the quote won’t make me happy.
I love this show because of the quick wit and wisdom of this character.
He had said this to Jon Snow, who actually is an illegitimate child of a Lord (plot is set in the medieval times). What really gets me about this quote is the way he had said it to Jon; not only advising him but this also showed a dept as to how he had come to be what he is – as it can be seen through out the show . His out of the ordinary quotes will make you like him more than before (not necessarily a character development, but you get to see what he really is like).

Seven facts about me:
Or in plural – hobbies. You see, I came across a blog with an amazing idea to make a “Daily prompt” container (something similar to “the daily prompts” at wordpress here) with random prompt ideas that I would want to do everyday but I don’t – because I think I need to do the other thing and it has more value in it – something like Opportunity cost (I think)
So, I have left it on fate through the randomization of the prompts and the container and of course, my hands to decide how I am going to be productive for a particular day.
And Ta-da. This is what I got for today: (it reads: “make a kawaii (cute) plushie”) (And you can see my awesome container that I shall paint on later)
And thus the task done:
“Like Ice, we stand firm on our decisions and silhouette, yet,
Like Water, we flow through changes, through time, and,
Like Steam, we enter (hearts of) vessels without even touching them.
Yet, we are much more than that.”
[Warning: This may make no sense, but to me, it does]
It should have been fiction. Something imaginative, with characters and swords and snow. My kind of a new posting style – because I have not been “fictional” yet. I will try it soon enough because I don’t have enough time (or an idea), but today I felt like sharing a quote from this book (as I also haven’t posted quotes).
I once saw this book when I was 15. I thought it would be mature content (and it is) so I decided to buy it later -if it was in my fate- and it was.
I took the fate a bit for granted, and this book joined the “to be read one day” list (in my defense, I had my studies in my way)
Then one day I felt guilty and I read it. And came upon this sentence, this quote:
